I’m a software developer with a strong PHP/Symfony and backend focus, and broad experience across frontend, infrastructure and operations. My work spans professional development teams, client systems and products I build and operate myself.

Vindle is a Dutch product and price comparison platform that I develop and operate independently. The work spans product development, backend systems, retailer and affiliate integrations, product data, infrastructure, SEO and the ongoing operation of the platform.

Software development across a broad range of web projects in a professional team environment, primarily around PHP/Symfony and React. My responsibilities extended beyond application development into infrastructure and operations, and later included mentoring and training interns and junior developers.

Client work
A custom applicant tracking system for MEP Hospitality Staffing, covering the candidate journey from initial application through onboarding until they are ready for work. The system is used daily as part of MEP's operations; the wider engagement also includes the redesign and reimplementation of the public website and ongoing technical consultancy.

Own product
Browsely is an independent browser-based software project focused on making everyday web tasks faster through browser automation and AI-assisted functionality. Its development involved browser APIs, external integrations, frontend interfaces and AI-assisted features.
I spent nearly six years at 4BIS Innovations working as a software developer across a wide range of web projects. While much of my development work centred around PHP, Symfony and React, my responsibilities extended into infrastructure, deployment, email, SEO and other operational parts of running web systems. Later, I also took on mentoring and training interns and junior developers.
Since then, I have continued that broad approach through my own products and client work. I like working across the boundaries between software, infrastructure and product decisions, including how a product actually reaches its users through areas such as search and distribution. AI-assisted development and coding agents have also become a regular part of how I work, alongside taking responsibility for systems from implementation through deployment and ongoing operation.
I’m currently open to part-time software development roles, particularly backend-focused or technically broad positions where I can work across application development, infrastructure and automation. I’m most interested in practical product work where I can take ownership beyond a narrowly defined implementation role.
Alongside my own products, I also remain available for selected freelance development and ongoing technical consultancy.
